sdadmin3 Emergency Maintenance - April 14th, 2005

VDS server "sdadmin3" crashed today due to disk errors. These disk errors give us concerns that the disk could be close to failure. We are taking precautions to make sure that we are prepared to recover this server should this disk fail. Tonight at approximately 9 PM CDT (http://www.timeanddate.com/worldclock/), we will be stopping all hosting accounts on this server and then we will be copying all data to a backup disk. We do not expect your accounts to be down for more than 1 hour.

This maintenance effects all accounts within this IP range:
65.77.209.11 thru 65.77.209.102

The server is back up now. The drive has been replaced and no data has been lost during the procedure.

The server is backing up on its regular schedule so it may be a little sluggish until is finishes around 2am.

Sorry for the inconvenience, but I'm sure everyone would trade an ounce of prevention for a pound of cure.
