Hey, I need help getting my x-cart working...

The person Chris recommeded to me is too busy.

Anyone else know a programmer that can help me finish off the site?

Thanks,

Dave

Dave,

Give us a call...I've got another developer who I can recommend.

Dave,

What is your problem? Is it something simply we can maybe answer for you? Have you visited the support forums at x-cart itself?

Well, my worst problem is probably conditioning...

Like the old psychology experiment... If you put a flea in a jar and put a lid on it, the flea would continue to jump and hit the lid.... As soon as the flea stops hitting the lid you can take it off and the flea will not escape the jar... It it conditioned to stop short.

I've been fighting this project for so long, and I've been so frustrated it is hard to get back in to it.

If I understand right, Chris and the HardHat guys got my transact payment set up... All that's left (to my knowledge) is getting the shipping working and re-entering some products.

I want to ship USPS Priority Mail, Priority Express (<4 lbs), and Global Express.... I want the shipping cost to be based off of real cost plus a programmed amount ($3.50 US, $7 Canada, $14 International).

If I could get the system up and running with some mythical widgets, I could probably muster up enough enthusiasm to enter the products in.

Right now, I'm more excited about learning what PHP programming I need to know to create a new shopping cart system for a web-site I already have up.

Have a great day,
