Any recommendations for a pic viewer

I plan to add a great deal of photos to my website in the coming months. Does anyone have any recommendations - HTML code, JAVA script snippets, or shareware, etc. - that can be used to effectively display a large amount of pictures, prefereably in a photo album type of format?

I'm sure I can find something as HotScripts.com, or similar website. But if anyone has a recommendation, it would be appreciated.
